“The Front Rooms:” As you enter the building, you will be greeted by a welcoming open-plan reception area that will also be used as a co-working space. To your left will be a separate large studio space for classes and lessons, brightly lit with wall-to-wall windows. On the right are two more classroom/office spaces, equipped with a desk and chair as well as a piano, for flexible use.
“Flexible Community Space:” Continue down the hall way to enter the large open-plan activity space. From cooking classes to camps to STEAM enrichment, community gatherings and clubs, this space can be set up in the moment for any activity. Ample storage space includes a costume room for theater programs and musical instrument storage for Homer Youth Musicians.
“Recreation Area:” As you head toward the stairs on your left, you will walk past the spacious accessible bathrooms and utility sinks. Double doors open into the vaulted gym area perfect for everything from basketball games to play rehearsals. A soft-play area at the rear creates space for our youngest community members and their caregivers.
September 2026 Project Update
The walls have come out, the concrete cut up, and we have a ditch ready for the plumbing! Toys for tots supplies are moving into the garage this week as we get ready to be busy this holiday season.

June 2026 Project Update
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to the Homer Village Zoning Board meeting at the end of May! Unfortunately they were not able to approve the project at that meeting, but asked us to return in June with additional information. We are confident that the Village will work with us to find a way forward, so that we can bring this much-needed resource to the community.
